Biden and the Democrats have embraced socialism since Bill Clinton took office in 1993. Constantly endorsing both overwhelmingly intrusive government programs such as the Patriot Act have been a threat on our freedom and privacy.
They have been trying to close the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, our only foothold in the social communist bastion of Cube, for over 30 years. Now, President Biden is taking it one step further, and will be considering Cuba for statehood.
In a statement released yesterday, Biden said, “Cuba’s thriving economy and commitment to individual liberties are an excellent example of how a social democracy can work in today’s growing one-world government. They would be a welcome addition to the United States of America.”
Nancy Pelosi, who along with her longtime real estate business partner in Cuba, Hyman Roth, says, “We are Americans. Existence, as Cubans know it, is over. We will add their biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile.”
Cuban cigars have already started flooding the US market, plunging their still black market value The late Rush Limbaugh says, “If these Cuban stogies were as cheap when I was alive as they are now, I might never have dabbled in opioids.”
Cuban-American Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are cautiously optimistic about possible statehood for the country from which their families immigrated.
In a joint statement from both their offices, they tell us, “The Cubans are a hardworking people, or so we’ve been told. We would welcome them their statehood. There’s a reason Trump didn’t build a wall between the United States and Cuba, and we are sure their acceptance into our Union will be beneficial to all seeking cheap labor.”
It is a shame on our democracy that, after all these years, the sacrifices made by the CIA-backed Cuban rebels during the Bay of Pigs invasion have gone for naught. It appears the Bay of Pigs is now invading us.
